What should I wear?

You should wear a bathing suit or shorts that are not cotton for under the wetsuit that we provide. For early in the season we provide neoprene booties for your feet, but later in the season you are welcome to wear your own sandals (no flip flops).

Where do we get into the river?

Depending on the trip you take, Osprey shuttles you to the river and picks you up at the end of your trip.

Is it okay to do the Main Event if this is our first time rafting?

Yes. We take first time rafters on this trip every day.

Do I have to paddle?

Yes, our rafts are paddle rafts and you are the motor of it.

Why do I have to have paddle experience before taking the High Adventure rafting package?

Where we put in for the High Adventure trip you only have a couple of minutes to learn to paddle correctly while in the river before you are in Class IV rapids. You do however get paddling practice on the shore before entering the river.  If you don't have experience paddling, sometimes that is not enough time to learn to do it correctly. We request that you paddle with us on our Main Event trip, learn to paddle correctly, and then we would be happy to take you on the High Adventure trip.  However there are always expections to this.  Please call our office with questions.

Wear your bathing suit or a pair of shorts for underneath of your wetsuit (which we provide). If you wear prescription lenses, you should have eyewear retainers (which we sell). What time do we need to arrive?

Arrive at the time that you were given when you booked your trip. We tell everyone the same time, so that we can get everyone ready together. There is no need to arrive early.

Is their an age requirement?

Yes, depending on the water level. The age requirement is 9 years old.

Is there a place to park my car?

Yes. We have a large parking area right here at our office.

Is there camping?

At the Wenatchee office, we do not have on-site camping, but there are a number of great camping sites in the area. On the Tieton River, we do offer camping sites.
